Sweet Potato Brownies

 RETURN

 1 cup soften butter or margarine
 3/4 cup brown sugar
 2 cup sugar
 4 unbeaten egg
 2 cups grated raw sweet potatoes
 11/2 cups all purpose flour
 1 teaspoons salt
 1 cup chopped pecans
 1 teaspoon vanilla

 

Mix butter and sugar together.  Add egg, other  ingredients and pecans
Stir mixture well after adding each individually.
Spread evenly in a well greased cookie sheet or tray. 
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 30 minutes.
Test with toothpick.

Glaze: 1 cup powered sugar, 1/4 stick butter, enough milk to mix. Spread brownies while hot. Slice when cool. (You want your glaze real thin.)
